WiX website builder Review
I Created a website and finally uploaded lots of the crap I have been writing into my phone for years.
Finally I can post some reviews I wrote of games that I either desperately wanted to draw people to or desperately wanted them to avoid.
Design with Ease
“Suppose my first Official review should be WiX?.”
Makes sense doesn't it> that my first official review on here should be the site that is finally going to embarrassingly showcase my brain to as many people as find this dark area of the normal web.
Create Relevant Content
You know what, its actually really friggin easy. Do yourself a favour a do it via Desktop. Don't get me wrong the app is super intuitive- but much much better once your site is made. The Desktop editor gives you much more room to see the tools and truly experience what most people will see- whilst giving you the option to check it on mobile too (cool little feature). It shows you how to make a site with videos, gives you themes and even gives you examples of posts in whatever area it is you are trying to work in. You can also add tags (#vacation #dream #summer)... yeah thats an example sentence. left it in anyway. Using hashtags can expand your post reach and help people find the content that matters to them. And again. it asked me to. 'Go ahead, #hashtag away' it said.
Stun Your Readers
“Be original, show off your style, and tell your story.”
Thanks WiX, I plan on doing just that. It helps you with SEO as well, super important- this helps your site be found by more people. (Search engine optimisation) All the little tricks such as naming your photos with things that are likely to link people, who find the photo in google, back to your site. It is Clever.
Get Inspired
I am, genuinely. The site maker is fantastic- no wonder you proudly tell everyone you have 160Million users. Normal web development is expensive- I know, I dated a web designer. To be honest, the fact you can pay a small fee and remove the adds and get a URL etc is actually really cool- its cheap and its easy. Or just have a free site- it still looks professional.
Either way, for the first time in a long time I'm feeling inspired and the interactivity ease of the website making process with WiX has enabled me rather than knocked the wind out of me.
